ELIGIBILITY

The eligibility criteria for admission to Travel and Tourism courses at the undergraduate level is, higher secondary examination pass. Though not too much emphasis is laid on the stream of education, a decent level of Mathematics and an Intermediate level of English proficiency are pre-requirements.

Good communication in English and knowledge of a local language along with good presentation skills is essential in the industry where service to the customer is of utmost importance. An outgoing friendly personality, along with the ability to handle people are invaluable assets. Verbal fluency and an aptitude for languages will be advantageous to be successful in the field.

One should also have an up-to-date knowledge of available facilities and services in the field. In the administrative or managerial level, man-management, organizing ability, an ability to make decisions, solve problems, work effectively within a team will be essential.
